"POTSGROVE, a parish in the hundred of MANSHEAD, county of BEDFORD, 3 miles (S. by E.) from Woburn, containing 183 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, united to that of Battlesden, in the archdeaconry of Bedford, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £10. 19 4. The church is dedicated to St. Mary."
