"CHAWSTON, (formerly Chalverstone) is a hamlet in the parish of Roxton, with an ancient
manor house, surrounded by a moat, and was anciently the residence of Roger Hunt,
whose tomb is noticed above.
"COLESDEN, is a hamlet in the parish of Roxton, about a mile north-west of Roxton."
