" SHARNBROOK, a parish in the hundred of WILLEY, county of BEDFORD, 4 miles (north-east) from Harrold, containing 691 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Bedford, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the kings's books at £8, and in the patronage of the Crown. The church, dedicated to St. Peter, is of early English architecture, with a spire. There is a place of worship for Baptists."
