"TINGRITH, a parish in the hundred of MANSHEAD,
county of BEDFORD, 4 miles (E. by S.) from Woburn,
containing 155 inhabitants.. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Bedford, and diocese of
Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £9, and in the
patronage of R. Trevor, Esq. The church is dedicated
to St. Nicholas."
