to the poor of hungerford at my buriel £4
to the poor of kintbury 40s
to my 2 daughters £3-6s-8d to buy either of them a 'bole'
to my kinsman john smith my wearing apparell
to each of my godchildren 12d
to each of my grandchildren 20s, to the young men at 21 and the maidens at 18 years
to my son vincent 60 todds of wool that he owes me (in my book)
to my son vincent and his heirs forever the inheritence of the barne that belongeth to the chantry adjoining his backside near the church lane and in lieu therof to my son thomas and his heirs 2 acres of land that shooteth upon the lammas lease which i have in use as it is agreed betwixt my 2 sons
to my son thomas and his heirs and assigns the use of the barne stables outhouses with the garden on the east side of my backside until the lease of the channtry now in being be expired
to margaret my loving wife £20 and my 6 kine that i milk with the rest of the chantries except £10 of the first rent that shall arise which i give to thomas with £10 also out of the 'hart' at the first rent day toward my funeral exepnses
the rest of the 'hart' rent with the chantries rent i give to my wife for her life
to my wife during her life my now dwelling place with the outhouses backsides and garden next adjoining.

the residue to my son thomas who is sole executor
