will and inventory of john betteridge of hungerford, collarmaker, dated 25 may 1704
to my eldest son john betteridge and my son bartholomew betteridge and to my daughter joane, sarah and mary being the children of my former wife 1s each
the residue to mary my wife for her life, as long as she remain a widow to breed my younger children that i have by her
mary to dispose of my estate as she wishes amongst my younger children when they are 23 years old
