will and inventory: john paty
1) will of john paty the elder of hungerford yeoman, dated 7 october 1george 1714
to my son john paty my messuage in hungerford late in the possesion of thomas cummins deceased and now in the possesion of my son john paty which i lately purchased of robert jenkin [?] and rose his wife, to him and his hiers forever
paying 15s pa to my wife alice paty
to my son thomas all that part of the messuage in which i now dwell adjoining a tenemant now in the possesion of thomas lewis on the north and to my other little tenemant heretofore in the possesion of john sands deceased on the south and also one half part of the barn backside etc, with free use of the same to my wife alice during her life or paying her 18s pa if she shall quit the same
to my son robert paty all that my other part of the said messuage being the little tenemant aforesaid heretofor in the possesion of john sands deceased and half the barn backside gardens, right of commons etc appertaining to the whole messuage to him and his hiers forever paying alice 10s pa for her life
to my wife alice 1 acre in inkpen field for her life and after her decease to my son thomas
to my wife alice one half acre in inkpen field for her life and after her decease to my son robert
residue to alice, thomas and robert to be equally divided and to be joint executors
