CAXTON:
Geographical and Historical information from the year 1750.

"CAXTON, (Cambridgeshire) 42 cm. and 50 mm. from London, the stage bet. Royston and Huntingdon. In the R. of Hen. III. it descended to the Frevils, and from them, by the Burgoins, to the Jermyns. A Roman way passeth from Holm to Papworth thro' this T. Caxton, the first printer in England, was born here, as was also Matt. Paris the historian. It has a Mt. on T. and fairs May S. and Oct. 3."
