Sometimes known as "Swettenham: St. Swithin".

Church History

An ancient parish church, serving the townships of Kermincham and Swettenham.

The parish was affected by the following boundary change:

  • 1880 June 4 — enlarged to include the township of Davenport transferred from Astbury: St. Mary.

On 23 June 1971 the district was amalgamated with that of Brereton cum Smethwick: St. Oswald to form the combined district of "Brereton with Swettenham".
