EDGERLEY

  • Edgerley was a township in Aldford ancient parish, Broxton hundred (SJ 4356), which became a civil parish in 1866.
  • It included part of the village of Churton.
  • The population was 6 in 1801, 0 in 1851, 6 in 1901, 6 in 1951, and 7 in 2001.
  • In 2015 the civil parish was abolished and incorporated into Churton.
