MORETON CUM ALCUMLOW

  • Moreton cum Alcumlow was a township in Astbury ancient parish, Northwich hundred (SJ 8459), which became a civil parish in 1866.
  • It includes the hamlets of Ackers Crossing, Brownlow Heath and Roe Park.
  • The population was 116 in 1801, 133 in 1851, 117 in 1901, 196 in 1951, and 150 in 2001.
