STYAL

  • Styal was a civil parish (SJ 8383), created in 1894 from part of Pownall Fee.
  • In 1936 the civil parish was abolished to become parts of Wilmslow and Mobberley.
  • IIn 2011 a new civil parish, with different boundaries, was created from part of Wilmslow.
  • The population was 1153 in 1901.
