WALGHERTON

- Walgherton was a township in Wybunbury ancient parish, Nantwich hundred (SJ 6948), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- It includes the hamlet of Hussey's Nook.
- The population was 211 in 1801, 213 in 1851, 178 in 1901, 199 in 1951, and 121 in 2001.
