Coverage

These pages provide a pot-pourri of vital events collected by myself and others for the purposes of our own interest and research. They do not represent complete extractions from any one source, nor complete coverage of all records which may be available for a particular place, so if you don't find what you're looking for here, don't give up hope! There are still more resources to be researched. Contributions of additional material are always welcome, so you would like information from your own research to be added please see Further Contributions below.

Content

Information includes typically, SURNAME, FORENAME(s), Type of EVENT, DATE, SOURCE and RELATED_TO (either Spouse or Parents). Surname-variants are grouped together and listed in date order within variant. Note: this may sometimes cause confusion in listing as for instance Birds and Byrds are included together and precede Bland.

Contributors

Contributors (besides myself, Rosemary Lockie) include Janet Kirk, Glenn Trezza, Andrea Taylor, Chris Bennett, Heather Granger, Michael Spencer, Trevor Wilcock and others. See Derbyshire GENUKI Service Providers for contact details.

Added Value

The Surname/Forename columns may contain additional information which may be of two forms:-

Disclaimer

This collection consists of a list of names and events from a very wide range of sources which have been collected by myself and others for the purposes of our own interest, and research. They do not represent complete extractions from any one source, nor complete coverage of all records which may be available for a particular place [yes, it said something similar to that earlier too.]

We very much hope that you find something of interest here. However, as with any transcript, or index, please use this data as a finding aid only, and NOT as a definitive source. Whilst we will have made every effort to transcribe accurately from the original records, we do not claim to achieve 100% accuracy. Therefore if you find some information of interest, it is strongly recommended you check the original source for yourself to verify that the information is correct.

Further Contributions

Finally, we would be delighted to correct any errors which you find, and would be happy also to receive any extractions of data which you yourself may have available. Please contact:
(Rosemary Lockie)
Thank you.
