War Memorial - Breadsall, Derbyshire

Situated in the Churchyard. Inscriptions on three sides of the base of the Cross, read:-

SACRED TO THE MEMORY
OF THE MEN OF BREADSALL
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
IN THE EUROPEAN WAR 1914-1918
THIS CROSS WAS ERECTED IN THEIR HONOUR
BY THE PARISHIONERS
"THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE
GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS
THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIEND"
