- Cliff College (formerly Cliff House) has full academic status in the present day,
as an educational establishment for members of the Methodist Church. Its origins
however, are rooted firmly in the past, with its benefactors, the GARDOM family -
the previous owners of the land where the college was built.
- For a small village, Curbar seems to have been particularly well endowed
with colleges and schools over the years! An account of Stocking Farm School,
and Stanton Ford School may be found elsewhere online.
