    Back from the Brink - Captain Percy Sillitoe, Chief Constable of Chesterfield 1923-25.
      The achievements of Captain Percy Sillitoe, are best remembered as a controversial Director General of M15 during the early years of the Cold War. Before this eminent position he had previously served as chief constable of five different British police forces including Chesterfield, Sheffield and Glasgow. This little book will be of value to anyone interested in the history of the British police and to those who have lived in or near the areas where Sillitoe served.
