Little-Eaton lies about three miles and a half nearly north from Derby: the township is within the manor of Little-Chester. The chapel was rebuilt about the year 1788; the minister is appointed by the vicar of St. Alkmund, to whom fees for burials, etc. at the chapel, are payable. Philip de Wilughby inclosed a park at Little-Eaton in the reign of Richard I.
