Where is it In Derbyshire |
"MILFORD, a village in the township and parish of Duffield, county Derby, 2 miles S. of Belper. It is situated on the river Derwent, near the line of the Midland Counties railway. Some of the inhabitants are engaged in cotton spinning, and some in the mines, The living is a perpetual curacy* in the diocese of Lichfield, value £150, in the patronage of the crown and bishop alternately."
