"SHIREBROOK, a chapelry in the parish of Pleasley, hundred of Scarsdale, county Derby, 10 miles N.E. of Alfreton, and 5 N.W. of Mansfield, on the border of Nottinghamshire. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Lichfield, value £62, in the patronage of the Rector of Pleasley."
