Enumeration District No 7 : Stoke Township (in Hope Parish)

Woodland Eyam Township (in Eyam Parish) and Nether Padley Hamlet (in Hope Parish) are on separate web pages;
however it was not possible to split the description readily, which is as follows:-

"The whole of the Two Townships of Woodland Eyam and Stoke and the Hamlet of Nether Padley (including Hazzleford: Leam: Godaridge: Riley: Fall cliff: Hog Hall: Tadgness: Grindleford Bridge: Mag Clough: Padley Common: Nether Padley: Goatcliff: Knouchley: Stoke Toll Bar: Stoke Hall and Grindleford Bridge Toll Bar."
The Enumerator was Mr. John Kenyon.

These transcriptions are taken from photocopies (which I still have) supplied by the Derbyshire Local Studies Libary in Matlock, and taken from the P.R.O. microfilm. Whilst I have taken every care to transcribe accurately, mistakes are always possible, so if you spot any errors, or if you believe I've interpreted anything wrongly please contact me, and I'll be happy to make corrections.
