Description and Travel
TIBSHELF has the somewhat dubious merit of being the site of a (new-ish) Service Area for the M1 Motorway!
Tibshelf is just off the M1 motorway near Chesterfield. Passenger rail service ended in 1963. Tibshelf was described in 1857 as "one long street". The parish covered 2,400 acres.
