In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Edgcombe of the Parish of Alphington in the County of Devon Widow Do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say)My desire is to be buried at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named but with as little Expence as decency will Permit and I give to Elizabeth Lyston of Alphington aforesaid Widow Susan Gentel of the same place Spinster and Hugh Myddleton Ellicomb the Younger of the City of Exeter the Sum of ffive Guineas each for Rings in Remembrance of me and I give and bequeath all the Rest and Residue of my ready Money Securities for Money Bonds Notes and Bills and all other my Goods Chattels Personal Estate and Effects not hereinbefore otherwise disposed of and to which I am or shall at the time of my decease be in any way entitled to and which shall remain after Payment of my Debts Legacies and ffuneral Expences unto my worthy ffriends John Upham of the City of Exeter aforesaid Haberdasher and Edward Upham of the same place Bookseller equally to be divided between them to and for their sole use and benefit and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said John Upham and Edward Upham Joint Executors and Residuary Legatees of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby expressly revoke all former and other Wills by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I have to this my Will set my hand and Seal this tenth day of June in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and two Elizabeth Edgcombe
