Will of Henry Sumption, Yeoman of Axminster

In the Name of God Amen I Henry Sumption of Westwater within the Parish of Axminster in the County of Devon Yeoman Do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following ffirst I give unto my Brother Ephraim Sumption and to my Sister Joan one shilling a piece Also I Give and bequeath unto Ann Burridge wife of Stephen Burridge if Kilmington in the said County of Devon (in case she lives to become poor and necessiated) the Weekly Sum of two Shillings to be paid her Weekly and every Week by my Executor hereinafter named from such time (after my decease) as she be in such want or necessity as to have or receive any Parish Relief untill such said Weekly Sum so to be paid her as aforesaid shall run up and amount to the full Sum of twenty pounds All the rest and residue of my money Goods Chattells Rights Credits and Effects whatsoever I give bequeath and devise unto my loving Brother Robert Sumption whom I make and appoint Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this first Day of ffebruary in the Year of our Lord one thousand even hundred and sixty two Mark of Henry Sumption
