One of a series of official guides produced over the years, first by the Parish Council, then by the Chamber of Commerce. The Guide contains photographs of Parke, Headquarters of The Dartmoor National Park, Becka Falls, the Parish Church, Bowerman's Nose on Dartmoor, Bovey Tracey Swimming Pool, Union Square, and Haytor Rocks, as well as pictures of several of the hotels and inns in the town. There is a map of the region around Bovey (p. 19) and a larger map of the town itself (pp. 24-5). This index presents only the surnames that appear in the Guide.
