BUCKERELL, a parish in the hundred of HEMYOCK, county of DEVON, 3 miles (W.) from Htmiton, containing 315 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese qf Exeter, rated in the king's books at £10. 0. 2., endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £300 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Exeter. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
