Grace Horwood [.....] Pasmore | For that on ye 24 of June 1740 came before Samuel Rolle esq and Peter Beavis clerk 2 of ye Justices of ye Peace and did there voluntarily maliciously falsly and corruptly swear upon ye Holy Gospell before the said justices That there was eighteen pounds and upwards due to them from Robert Maire; John Bale; and William Newcombe and in fact for the rent of a Lime Quarry rock and Kiln called Venn Lime Kilns in Landkey when in truth and fact they were not indebted to them in that sum But were only indebted in ye sum of twelve pounds and no more whereby they committed willfull and corrupt perjury.
