Devon to wit. A Calendar of the Prisoners in his Majesties High Gaol for the County of Devon at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace held at the Castle of exeter July 14th, 1784.

William AustinCommitted April 30th by Ralph Michell esq charged on oath of Levi Wolfe with Assaulting & Beating him. [comment - On Bail].
James PhillipsCommitted May 22nd by Ralph Michell esq charged on Oath of john Disman & John Collyns with ffeloniously Assaulting them & taking from said John Disman a hat & throwing the same away. [comment: continuing].
Mary Hearle alias HearneCommitted May 29th by R. Michell esq charged on Oath of Elizabeth Johns with ffeloniously taking & carrying away out of the House of said Elizabeth Johns one Womans Gown, one Petticoat, one shift, & one Apron. [comment: sentenced].
