William Pullen [22]Committed by E.P. Lyon esq charged on oath with having feloniously taken and carried away a certain quantity of potatoes, the property of Mr. John Beer, of Kenton, on the night of the 20th day of January, 1826. Warrant dated 21st January, 1826. [comment: Bridewell 12 months].
George Trump [18]Committed by W. Barker, clerk, charged on the oaths of John Wright and Henry Williams, with disturbing the congregation of Protestant Dissenters, called the Society of Arminian Bible Christians, in their public worship, in a house duly licensed for that purpose on the 21st February, 1826. Warrant dated 22nd february, 1826. [comment: No prosecution].
John Sweetland [18]Committed by W. Kitson clerk charged on the oath of Philip Nickels with having feloniously taken and carried away, one sovereign, his property. Warrant dated 17th March, 1826. [comment: Acquitted].

Lott esq charged on oath with feloniously stealing part of an iron axle, the property of Samuel Bond, junr, of Honiton, coach-maker value 3s or thereabouts, and other articles, his property. Pim esq charged on the oaths of Richard Payne, and others, with having at East Stonehouse, on or about 7th March, last, feloniously taken, stolen, and carried away, a Holland shirt, a childs frock,a shirt, a pair of stockings, a net cap, and a bed-gown, the property of the said Richard Payne, value 10s and upwards. Warrant dated 22nd March, 1826. [comment: Acquitted].

Barker clerk on suspicion of stealing a basket, 2 papers of tea, a bag of scouring sand,some barley meal in a handkerchief, some cakes, a stay lace, a cloth and a new beaver hat, the property of Thomas Parsons and John Alridge, of Cullompton. Warrant dated 27th March, 1826. [comment: Guilty Imprisoned Bridewell 6 calendar months to hard labour].
Thomas Smith [39]Committed by R.P. Coffin and J. Burke esq's charged on the oath of James Lewis of Monkleigh, with being Insane. - And also on the oath of Charles Shute, with having threatened and attempted to cut himj down with a hook, on wwnd March instant. Warrant dated 30th March, 1826. [comment: No prosecution - Let him be discharged as soon as the Parish Officers have provided for him a place of safe custody].
