Know all Men That I William Callard late of the Parish of Dartington in the County of Devon Mariner but now belonging to his Majestys Ship Apollo do this seventh day of March in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy seven and in the Seventeenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God King of Great Britain ffrance and Ireland etc. Make this my Will and Power and do hereby give and empower Jane Callard my Wife to have and receive all the Monies that shall or may be due to me if I might happen to die in his Majestys Service by Sea or Land she my said Wife shall demand receive and have all and singular of my Effects to her own Proper Use I do hereby declare this to be my last Will and Power In Witness hereunto my Hand and Seal Interchangeably set the day and Year first above written The Mark of X Wm Callard Signed and Sealed in the presence of us who have subscribed our Hands as Witnesses hereunto W Watson Mary Watson
