The Prince of Orange in Exeter, 1688

by

T.W. Windeatt

Trans. Devon. Assoc. vol. 13, (1881), pp. 173-185.

Prepared by Michael Steer

The paper, read at the Association's July 1881 Dawlish meeting follows the author's paper on the landing of the Prince at Brixham and his subsequent progress to Newton Abbot, which was pesented at the Association's Totnes meeting. That paper and this are based on extracts from Whittle's Diary, a book that is described as rare, complete, graphic and interesting. Google with the Archive Organization has sponsored the digitisation of books from several libraries. The Internet Archive makes available, in its Community Texts Collection (originally known as Open Source Books), books that have been digitised by Google from a number of libraries. These are books on which copyright has expired, and are available free for educational and research use. This rare book was produced from a copy held by the Princeton University Library, and is available from the the Internet Archive.
