KINGSTON, a parish in the hundred of ERMINGTON,county of DEVON, 3¾ miles (S.W. by S.) fromModbury, containing 525 inhabitants. The living is aperpetual curacy, annexed to the. vicarage of Ermington,in the archdeaconry of Totness, and diocese ofExeter. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.The parish is bounded on the west by theriver Erme, and on the south by the English channel.
