This paper was probably the foundation for a copy of the List of Rectors exhibited in the Parish Church. The dates of Thomas Beke, John Rogland and Robert James are to a certain extent conjectured as their institutions were not recorded, but they were almost certainly at periods when the See was vacant, and institutions by the Archbishops or Dean & Chapter of Canterbury are frequently missing or not recorded in their registers. Google with the Archive Organization has sponsored the digitisation of books from several libraries.
