NOTICE.

WHEREAS many persons in the neighbourhood of Exeter are in the habit of SPORTING without having obtained a Certificate for that purpose:- This is to give Notice, that whoever will make information to the Surveyor of Taxes for the City of Exeter, so that such person or persons may be convicted thereof, they will be entitled to and receive a portion of the penalty, which will be levied in consequence of the conviction: and as a Caution to such persons, they are hereby informed that active measures will be taken to discover all offenders, who will be immediately prosecuted.
N.B. A list of the persons who have obtained Certificates for the county of Devon, may be seen by applying to Mr Searle, surveyor, Paris-street, Exeter.
