This is an Edwardian tourist's 'picture book' guide to Plymouth and to a number of the larger towns in South and East Devon. The booklet provides several pages of business advertisements, and it is likely that its production was underwritten by the advertising firms. Only horse-drawn vehicles appear in the photographs of urban settings and the streets are virtually devoid of traffic. Page numbers have been inserted by the indexer, since the booklet is not paginated.
