ROMANSLEIGH, a parish in the hundred of WITHERIDGE, county of DEVON, 3½ miles (S. by E.) from South Molton, containing 214 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Barnstaple, and diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £10.14. 9½., and in the patronage of Sir T. D. Acland, Bart. The church is dedicated to St. Rumon.
