Will of Ann Yeoman of Slapton

This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Yeoman formerly of Dartmouth and of Totnes late of Stancombe in the Parish of Sherford but now of Slapton in the County of Devon Widow made this seventeenth day of ffebruary One thousand eight hundred and thirty seven ffirst I will and driect that all my just debts and funeral expences be paid and discharged Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Tucker Cornish Widow Thomas Michelmore of Sparkwell in the Parish of Staverton and Henry Roe Square of Thurlestone in the County aforesaid Gentleman and the Survivors and Survivor of them her and his executors and administrators all my moneys or securities for money now standing or which may at my decease be standing in my name in the three per cent consolidated Bank annuities upon Trust to receive the dividends and annual produce htereof as the same shall from time to time become due and payable and pay the same unto or allow my said daughter to receive the same for and during the term of her natural life for her own use and benefit and from and immediately after the decease of my said daughter Upon Trust to assign and transfer the said stock funds and securities unto and between my Grandson Jeffery John Edwards my Granddaughter Arabella Edwards Cornish and the only Son and child of my late Grandson John Netherton Edwards in equal shares and proportions on their respectively attaining their respective ages of twenty one years but in case my said Grand daughter shall happen to die under the age of twenty one years Then I will and direct that her share of the said stock funds and securities aforesaid shall be assigned over unto my said daughter her executors and administrators but in case my said daughter shall happen to die before my said Granddaughter and the child of my said late Grandson shall attain her or his age of twenty one years then I direct that the share or respective shares of the interest dividends and annual produce of my said stock shall be paid to such of them as shall not have attained her or his respective ages of twenty one years for and towards her or his respective maintenance and education according to her and his presumptive share until he or she attains the age of twenty one years and I hereby declare that the Legatees before mentioned shall be entitled to their respective shares and be considered as vested interests on their attaining their respective ages of twenty one years and I hereby direct that the Trustees for the time being of this my will shall at all times deduct and retain all costs charges and expences attending the trusts of this my will and that they shall only be answerable for such loss as may happen by their respective wilful neglect or default nor the one for the other of them but each for her or his own acts and that their respective receipts or receipt shall in all cases be a sufficient discharge and I hereby nimnate and appoint the said Nancy Tucker Cornish Thomas Michelmore and Henry Roe Square Trustees of this my will for the purposes before mentioned and all the rest and residue of my monies securities for money whether on Bond mortgage or otherwise howsoever goods chattels and personal estate whatsoever I do hereby give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my said daughter Nancy Tucker Cornish for her sole use and benefit and I hereby nominate and appoint my said daughter sole Executrix and residuary Legatee of this my will hereby revoking all former wills and testaments by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written The Mark of Ann Yeoman X
