STOKE-FLEMING, a parish in the hundred of COLERIDGE, county of DEVON, 2 miles (S. S. W.) from Dartmouth, containing 686 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Totness, and diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £31. 6. 0½., and in the patronage of Charles Farwell, Esq. The church, dedicated to St. Peter, contains some interesting monuments.
