The will of Christopher Venner of Stodley, Devon, Yeoman.

This is the will and testament of me Christopher Venner of the parish of Stodley in the county of Devon, Yeoman made this thirteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one hundred and nineteen being of a sound mind and memory and Understanding, thanks be given to our almighty for the same.
First I give and bequeath unto John Venner, William Venner, Jacob Venner, Abraham Venner, Mary Hartswell, Elizabeth Greenslade, and Ann Greenslade sons and daughters of my late brother, John Venner, the sum of fifty pounds to each Also I give and bequeath unto my brother William Venner ten pounds Also I give and bequeath unto William Venner & Abraham Venner two sons of my said brother William Venner the sum of three hundred pounds each Also I give and bequeath unto Mary Sharland, Ann Hill, Susannah Bowden Jenny Curtis Sarah Hill and Martha Hartwell six daughters of my aforesaid brother William Venner the sum of one hundred pounds each, I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Hammett daughter of my said brother William Venner the sum of ten pounds and two shillings per week to be paid her weekly during her life time and to commence at the time of my decease, Also I give and bequeath unto Christopher Venner son of my aforesaid brother William Venner all that my freehold messuages and tenements with the appurtenances called Over Woodburn situate lying and being in the parish of Oakford in the county aforesaid to have and to hold to my said Nephew Christopher Venner his Heirs and assigns for ever Also I make and ordain the said Christopher Venner sole Executor of this my last will and testament by paying all my just Debts and Funereal Expenses, and all Legacies within one year next after my decease In witness where of I have here unto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of March in the year of our Lord, One thousand eight hundred and nineteen.
