Rev John Bickley Hughes was Headmaster of Blundell's School. The Rectory of Tiverton, at the time of writing was divided into four portions or prebends: Pitt, Clare, Tidcombe and Prior. Rev. Hughes also wrote and delivered a paper on Rural Deans at a Ruridecanal Chapter meeting at Totnes in September 1878, as well delivering papers on the restoration of Huntsham Church and St Peter's Church, Tiverton. This rare book was produced from a digital copy held by the University of Michigan Library that can be downloaded from Google Books. Those on which copyright has expired are available for free educational and research use, both as individual books and as full collections to aid researchers.
