In the Name of God Amen I Barnabas Lloyd of the Parish of Topsham in This is the last Will and Testament of me Daniel Pennell of Topsham in the County of Devon Merchant I give and bequeath unto George ffollett of the City of Exeter Gentleman one hundred and fifty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid him within twelve Months after my decease All the rest and residue of my Goods Chattels Personal and Testamentary Estate whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my Mother Sarah Pennell for her natural life and after her decease I give and bequeath the same unto such of my Brothers and Sisters and his her or their Child or Children as my said Mother shall direct and Appoint it being my wish that such of my said Brothers and Sisters or their Children shall have the benefit thereof as shall stand most in want thereof in their Opinion and at the discretion of my said Mother and I do hereby appoint my said Mother Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twelfth day of May one thousand seven hundred and Ninety Seven Daniel Pennell Signed Sealed Published and Declared in the Presence of Mary Ashburne _ George Parnell
