TWITCHEN, a parish in the hundred of South Molton, county of Devon, 6½ miles (N. E. by E.) from South Molton, containing 162 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of North Molton, in the archdeaconry of Barnstaple, and diocese of Exeter. The church is dedicated to St. Peter.
