These filing headings have been used for index cards covering Gateshead items appearing in Newcastle newspapers between 1744 and 1830.

Copies of cards can be supplied, cost ten pence per A4 sheet (six cards).

Separate files are also available arranged by:

1. Surname
2. Placename

These cards can also be copied onto A4 sheets as above.

Copies of some of the articles indexed can be made. This is dependent on:

1. Condition of the newspaper in question
2. Position on the page
