"AMPNEY ST. PETER, (or Easington), a parish in the hundred of Crowthorne and Minety, in the county of Gloucester, 5 miles E. of Cirencester. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol, value £60, in the patronage of the bishop."
