"BREAM, (or Breem), a chapelry in the parish of Newland, hundred of St. Briavell's, in the county of Gloucester, 6 miles to the N.W. of Berkeley. Lydney is its post town. The living is a perpetual curacy* in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol, of the value of £150, in the patronage of the bishop."
