EASTCOMBE
"EASTCOMBE is a hamlet, 1½ miles south-west [from Bisley], 4 east-by-south from Stroud, 2 north-by-west from Brimscombe railway station. There is an iron chapel of ease, erected 1901. The Baptist chapel, built 1876, received an addition in 1878."
