Additional Notes: Leslie Mahler has abstracted details from thousands of Wills - including Early Gloucestershire Probate Records, Wills from the Commissary Court of London 1629-1634 and the Consistory Court of London 1621-1630, and more. The London pages are well worth a visit as the Will abstracts have a number of notices regarding people from Gloucestershire, and of course from other counties too, which may be of interest.

Wills Leslie has submitted to the Gloucestershire Probate Records collection are the result of these, or similar "blanket" extractions, so please be aware that it's unlikely he will be researching the families concerned personally. It is also very unlikely he will have copies of the original documents, as his abstracts have been compiled from microfilm on loan. His email details are nevertheless provided in case you want to get in touch with him to thank him for all his hard work.
