- "SNOWSHILL, a parish in the lower division of Kiftsgate hundred, county
Gloucester, 2 miles from Broadway, "its post town, and 6 N.E. of
Winchcombe. The village is small and chiefly agricultural. The living is a
curacy annexed to the rectory of Stanton, in the diocese of Gloucester and
Bristol. S. Wynniatt, Esq., is lord of the manor."
