Cemeteries

• Some Memorial Inscriptions in St Cyr's Churchyard, Cemetery and Ebley Congregational Chapelyard, Stonehouse, collected and transcribed by Alf Beard. Ebley Chapelyard added 26 Sep 2005.

• Monumental Inscriptions, taken from the first volume of Gloucestershire Notes and Queries (pub. 1881, edited by Rev. Beaver H. Blacker, M.A). The inscriptions themselves were recorded in 1879, and most are from inside the church. This modern transcription is by Stuart Flight.

• A collection of data to accompany Study Number 3896 - Residence and Kinship in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, 1558-1804 - a thesis by Janet Hudson of the University of Bristol to evaluate rural and factory industry in the area is available from the UK Data Archive (use the Search facility to search for "Stonehouse"). The basic data includes names of men in Manorial Resiant lists at the Gloucester Record Office, list of properties in Stonehouse, Manor court events, and personal names and relationships. The data are quite extensive consisting of 9062 records in date order and 2804 records of people, with background data from Settlement Certificates &c..
