UP HATHERLEY, Gloucestershire

- "UP HATHERLEY, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of Dudstone,
county Gloucester, 3½ miles S.W. of Cheltenham. It adjoins the parish of
Hatherley-Down. There is no village, the parish consisting of two farms.
The living is united to that of Shurdington. The church was demolished
nearly three centuries ago, and the N. aisle of Shurdington church is used
by the parishioners.
